Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme Vs. is leaving arcades and coming to PlayStation 3. This game has 2-on-2 fights and a revised battle system. Each Gundam has a boost gauge you can use to quickstep out of enemy fire or dash towards enemies. Alternatively, you can save your boost gauge and use half of it for an extreme burst special attack which has an animated cut-in followed by a heavy attack.

the last gundam vs game released here was gundam vs zeta gundam, and it
wasnt that good, i expected seed alliance vs zaft game to be released
here but it dont happen so the chances are pretty slim… but we can
hope

its because of Gundam Crossfire. But this looks a lot more fun than that so they should give it a chance this time since people buy the Dynasty Warriors Gundam games

Both of them are Extreme Gundam variations. Extreme Gundam is a new Gundam created for the game. The second on the left is Extreme Gundam, and the second on the right is yet another variation. IIRC, they’re Extreme Gundam wearing some extra equipment. If you look at the big versions, they’re ALL Extreme Gundam wearing a set of oversized arms and legs.

Eh, no Gundam Wing, only Endless Waltz? Hmm, that means no Wing Zero, Epyon, or Hell Deathscythe…. On the plus side, we could get Tallgeese III instead of Tallgeese, along with its railgun.

Game will have been in arcades for 14 months when it comes out in December, so the list of Gundams is pretty set.

Shouldn’t be any real changes to the most up to date arcade roster. Just new game modes that Capcom is working on, and hopefully decent online.

umm, Qan T is in the arcade version too. The game runs basically on a PS3, and is possibly the most profitable arcade game in Japan right now, so they’ve been updating it regularly.
I won’t be surprised if there’s DLC Gundam’s on the horizon should the console version sell well. All they’ve said they’re adding to the game right now are offline mission modes and things though, so it’s getting the same roster barring an unannounced surprise.

I’ll be getting the game, but they really do have a poor choice of units for the most part. Acguy is in the game as a joke unit, as usual. Or both versions of the Qubeley. I mean it does have unique units, but most everything on this list carries a beam rifle and saber and not much else.
Some unique units that I think should have been added. Kampfer with its shotgun, rocket launchers, chain mine, and rockets. Or Hambrabi with its beam weapons, beam rifle, and sea serpent(electric pwnage ftw.)
If Namco Bandai adds more suits then I hope these two make the cut.
