Mario, Luigi, And All Of The Koopalings Guest Star In New Taiko No Tatsujin Game

Recommended Videos

Mario and Luigi are bringing the Mushroom Kingdom to Namco Bandai’s drumming game Taiko no Tatsujin. The next Wii installment, Taiko no Tatsujin: Definitive Edition, has a song from New Super Mario Bros. Wii in it. Stay on beat and all of the Koopalings will leave their castles to dance or maybe they’re just ganging up on Mario. We’re not sure what the Koopalings will do after they stop bobbing up and down when the song ends.

Chiptune band YMCK also guest star in Taiko no Tatsujin: Definitive Edition as their pixilated avatars. The Wii game has over 100 songs chosen by fans to play and more than 100 costumes to collect.

Like other Wii installments, Taiko no Tatsujin: Definitive Edition has a multiplayer mode that supports up to four players. You don’t need drums for everyone, though. The game supports Wii remotes and Classic Controllers, as well as the drum accessory.

Taiko no Tatsujin: Definitive Edition comes out on November 23 in Japan.
