Mario Finally Gets To Use A Fire Flower In Mario Kart 7

Mario Kart has tons of power ups ranging from easy to dodge banana peels to annoying blue shells. Add fire flower to that list. Mario Kart 7 will let Mario chuck fireballs at other players when he grabs a fireball. It’s one of the new powerups for the 3DS game.

 

Nintendo also confirmed there will be a Wuhu Island track to race on. Wuhu Island is the locale where Wii Sports and PilotWings Resort takes place.

 

Mario Kart 7 comes out this December in North America and Europe. Japan has a more specific date – December 1
