You Can Play Ougon Kyoku Musou X Today

Ougon Kyoku Musou X premiered at Tokyo Game Show. Now, it’s coming home. Alchemist announced a downloadable demo with four playable characters will be available on Xbox Live today. Ange, Eva, Battler, and Lucifer are confirmed as playable characters for versus mode battles.

 

Ougon Kyoku Musou X is slated for release on October 6 as an Xbox 360 exclusive in Japan. As of now, the 07th Expansion fighting game has not been announced for any other region.

      It’s only Gold-exclusive for one week. Every Xbox 360 demo does that when they are first released

    Stupid Gold-exclusive-for-one-week. Oh well, guess I have to wait until next week to download it.

    Played. It’s basically an upscaled version of the doujin game, it doesn’t even start out full screen (it’s changeable within the options menu). The new characters are neat, but nothing that justifies the price.

    The options menu also has “key config”, it’s a really basic port.

    I suspect the netcode won’t be great either.

    Overall, I’m relatively disappointed that they haven’t bothered to rework the sprites for HD, I guess my expectations were something similar to Blazblue. But no, it’s just a port of the doujin game with some new characters.

      Well unless this get’s worked on by Arcsys, I doubt we’ll see up-to par HD 2D sprites like BB for a while.

    I’m considering getting a JXbox just to get this game :X  Well, that and all the other shmups that never make it stateside.

    Curse the region locked 360.
    Do us all a favour and bring this to the PS3 for easy importing.

    Much rather play this game on a console than on PC.  Darn region locking and not being on the PS3 and all.
