The King Of Fighters XIII Shares Replays With The World, If Youre Good Enough The King of Fighters XIII lets players save replay data from online fights to analyze your opponent’s techniques, but if you’re really good you can share bouts with the world. Replays from The King of Fighters XIII can be uploaded for worldwide viewing if you fulfill certain conditions during rank matches.

 

Ranked matches are one of the three online modes. You can also try player matches, which do not effect your online status and battle rivals via Friend Match on PS3 or Xbox Live Party on Xbox 360.

 

The King Of Fighters XIII Shares Replays With The World, If Youre Good EnoughYou can see how your friends stack up via their online profile. SNK lets players choose an icon and a default party complete with player selected color choices for each character. Profiles also have simple canned messages like "I’m training" and "Let’s make this one a good one."

 

All of your King of Fighters XIII data is saved on to a player record like the one below. You can see your high score in arcade mode, how many pictures you unlocked in the gallery, and the number of opponents you beat in survival mode.

The King of Fighters XIII makes its debut on North America for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on October 25.

    These ranked limitations often tick me off, specifically in Blazblue. It’s punishment for not buying a video capture card. What if I just had this awesome match with someone? What if this WTF moment occurred and I wanna show it off? “Btw, you’re not one of the Top 20 in rank, therefore you suck and you can’t share replays.” :P

      “Fulfill certain conditions on ranked matches” may not be the same as
      “be in the Top 20 in the rank”. Perhaps the game has a ranking system in
      each match that gives a grade on how well you played, like I suppose
      some Street Fighter had it. “You had a B performance because you attack
      gave that much damage in that much time receiving that much damage” kind of thing.

      If it’s well made it may be a good way to filter out videos of ACTUAL
      awesome matches from matches that someone just thought it was awesome
      but after seeing the better performers replays it is clear that just
      wasn’t that great. Or any other type of conditions, perhaps
      challenge-like (“defeat the player without pressing the low kick
      button”). Although even in those scenarios it would be nice to at least
      be able to share your own saved replays with the same people you can play those Friend Matches.

      Anyway, I might be wrong and maybe this is just as a sad limited feature as you said, but that description was to beautifully vague to not make me wonder.

      Don’t worry Friend, its like good old KOF gameplay with story, network and fun :3

        My biggest problem with XII is the lack of content. There was hardly anything in the game, even the moves were completely barren.

        I have faith in SNK this time, XIII will definitely be worth it, I just hope they get the little things right too.

    There’s a pretty good chance that you’ll want to install this game when it launches so that the the loading times are cut in half or more.

    Something tells me these requirements are going to boil down to what SSF4 had in ranked matches.

    Won’t even weed out the “bad” replays if that’s the case.
