The Yakuza team has a knack for setting up real world tie-ups. Collaborations with local Japanese stores are a staple of the Yakuza games and they fit right in with the game’s take on modern day Kabukicho.
Binary Domain takes place in 2080 where humanoid robots run amuck in Japan, but hey Tully’s Coffee is still around with futuristic booths.
It’s one of the crossovers Sega set up for their shooter. 4gamer reports, Yakuza Studio also added a dumpling restaurant and Nissin’s Cup of Noodles to their third person shooter. Police officers have to eat something! 70 years into the future and Cup of Noodles… is still the same meal in a Styrofoam cup we have today.
