What Kind Of Game Is Namco’s Masquerade Of Fate Trademark For?

What Kind Of Game Is Namcos Masquerade Of Fate Trademark For? When I first saw Masquerade of Fate pop up in a trademark database I wondered if it was a Type-Moon project. It isn’t since Masquerade of Fate is tied to Namco Bandai.

 

Masquerade of Fate sounds more like a subtitle rather than a brand new series to me. However, looking at Namco Bandai’s lineup I can’t pin down what it’s tied to. Pac-Man: Masquerade of Fate would be amusing, but it’s probably not that! Since Broken Destiny fit with the series before, could it be Soulcalibur V: Masquerade of Fate?

 

Any other guesses?

    Soul Calibur 3DS? The PSP had one, the 3DS is more than capable of having one. Also, if they include Link (or any other nintendo character) it would be sure to sell a lot of copies just like SC 2. In fact, SC 2 was the reason i got into the series and i only bought it for Link. :D

      A lot is relative though. The 3DS’ install base is still relatively small, so what would “a lot” be? I’d be more than happy with more portable Soul Calibur, I just don’t think that’d be a real reason for them to put it on the 3DS even if it turns out that it is SC3DS.

      That said, supposing we ever see a SC on 3DS, it’d be an insta-buy for me if they included more than just Link…really, it’d be an insta-buy just with Link anyway lol.

    It sounds like an RPG. Like a spiritual successor to Tri-Ace’s Resonance of Fate. Could Namco be working with Tri-Ace? Probably not, since they have their Tales team. Would be neat though.
