Former Capcom executive Keiji Inafune is working with Idea Factory on Bakudan Handan, a romance game for PSP. Inafune is creating the game’s video game themed amusement park. Compile Heart is technically a label for Idea Factory so it wasn’t too surprising to see Inafune linked one of their titles.
Infinite Souls, a PlayStation 3 RPG with Disgaea artist Takehito Harada and Record of Agarest War producer Kenta Sugano, also has a Keiji Inafune tied to the project as a producer. It’s not the Keiji Inafune you’re thinking of though, "Keiji Shin Inafune" is a different person and Infinite Souls is his first gig as a producer.
Speaking with Dengeki Online, Shin Inafune says he has the utmost respect for Inafune and he idolizes the Mega Man creator. Inafune (Capcom) always continues to take on new challenges like making an appearance in Hyperdimension Neptunia Mk2.
Overwhelming Game Infinite Souls is slated for release in March 2012 as a PlayStation 3 exclusive.
