By Spencer . October 21, 2011 . 8:07am

Soulcalibur Goes From Arcade To Dreamcast To iPhone Soulcalibur V is coming to consoles on January 31, 2012 and the original Soulcalibur is coming to iOS around the same time. Namco Bandai announced they are working on a mobile version of the game that kicked off Soulcalibur, but didn’t introduce Siegfried. Soul Edge did that.

Soulcalibur will be compatible with iOS devices and tablets.

Dammit, Namco! Why can’t you bring this Dreamcast classic to PSN?

    • Gatchaman1

Because that would make too much sense. Similar to how Sega is not jumping on bringing Shenmue I & II to PSN

I wish Namco would bring SC to PSN.

  • DuskShark

I hope SC1 gets a release on the PSN too!

This is what I find stupid.  All the other mainline SC titles have been on PlayStation platforms except for SC1:

    Soul Blade – PS1
    Soul Calibur 2 – PS2
    Soul Calibur 3 – PS2
    Soul Calibur 4 – PS3
    Soul Calibur 5 – PS3

And they skipped Soul Calibur 1 when they rereleased it for XBL around SCIV’s time (why PSN didn’t get it, I don’t know) and now iOS is getting the game?
