In the Nintendo Direct video stream, Nintendo outlined some of the features in the forthcoming Nintendo 3DS firmware update. Users will be able to record 3D movies ten minutes long and create stop motion movies with the 3DS.

Nintendo is also tweaking the system’s StreetPass features. StreetPass Mii Plaza will get new puzzles, like one for Donkey Kong Country Returns, and a revised StreetPass Quest. The new game lets players make parties with another Mii and hit slimes with combination attacks.
