Is Insomniac Games Working On "Space Beasts" Or "Galaxy Beasts"?

Is Insomniac Games Working On "Space Beasts" Or "Galaxy Beasts"?Ratchet & Clank developer Insomniac Games has strong ties to Sony Computer Entertainment America. They are the studio behind Resistance: Fall of Man and before that the Spyro games.

Starting with their multiplatform game Overstrike, Insomniac Games are developing their own intellectual property. Perhaps, Space Beasts or Galaxy Beasts are future projects? The Burbank-based developer filed trademarks for both of those terms in the USA. Both registrations are good for video game software and online video games.

Anyone up for shooting space creatures?

I hope we get more Overstrike news, it had an intriguing teaser when it was first shown.  I like this developer even if they had questionable development decisions with Resistance (series).

My dreams are probably too high but damn if that was true that would be awesome.

I like how you didn’t even mention R&C as a franchise they created :|

I am very excited for Overstrike. It looks like such a slick “super team” property – like GI Joe mixed with Incredibles. I’m happy to see Insomniac move onto new IPs, to be honest. Resistance was never amazing, only solid. And the Ratchet games are pretty creatively bankrupt – I mean, all the annualized sequels just repeated the same things, changed so little, and devalued the games that came before ‘em. Not like, say, the Jak or Sly games, which refined their mechanics and reinvented themselves with each entry.

After so many years, they’re clearly done with any ideas or inspiration they had with regards to Ratchet, so it’s nice to see ‘em move onto this “Galaxy Beasts” IP.
