Akai Katana Shin Landing In Europe Next Year

Rising Star Games is quickly becoming a shoot ’em up fan’s best friend. They brought Deathsmiles over and licensed Dodonpachi Resurrection. That’s not even out yet and Rising Star already signed another Cave shooter.

Akai Katana Shin, the latest arcade to Xbox 360 conversion, will be available where Rising Star shines in the first half of 2012. Cave released the Xbox 360 version, which features enhanced graphics and new modes, in Japan this past May.

We contacted Rising Star Games and asked if the title would be region-free. A representative replied with "no comment." As of now, Akai Katana Shin has not been announced for North America.
