Lord of Apocalypse like other hunting games is designed with four player multiplayer sessions in mind. If you’re playing solo you can add mercenaries such as Dolphstein who wields a light sword or Yuno who carries a heavy sword as partner characters.
Or you can travel with one of your friend’s characters instead. Lord of Apocalypse’s friend mercenary system lets players exchange guild tags, which lets you add a buddy’s character as a computer controlled mercenary.
During multiplayer meetups players can revive fallen allies, team up to cast an ultimate spell, and join forces for a boss defeating climax attack.
Lord of Apocalypse also has a bunch of emoticons. Can you guess what these are?
From left to right: bowing apology, line dance, provoke, cower, do pushups, rest, and blow a kiss.
Lord of Apocalypse will be available for PSP and PlayStation Vita on December 17.
