Tales Of Innocence R’s Style Board Is Another Sphere Grid

toirTales of Innocence R has a new way for players to develop their characters. Ruca and his friends gain AP after every fight, which you use to purchase abilities and parameter boosts.

The style board system is reminiscent of the Grow Up points in Tales of Xillia and before that the Sphere Grid from Final Fantasy X, but each character has their own style board. Ruca’s, for example, branches off into four different directions.

 

Tales of Innocence R comes out on January 26 for PlayStation Vita in Japan.
