Namco Bandai Expects Gundam Extreme Vs. To Sell 500,000 Units

gundamex1Namco Bandai posted strong Tales of Xillia sales. The PlayStation 3 game moved 750,000 units in Japan. AKB1/48: I Fell in Love With an Idol in Guam reached 450,000 units and One Piece Unlimited Cruise SP sold 240,000 units in Japan.


For the following quarter, Namco Bandai expects Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme Vs. to be one of their top selling games. The publisher forecasts 500,000 units of sales in Japan. Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme Vs. is their first arcade to PlayStation 3 port. Previous arcade conversations were released for PSP.


Overseas, Ben 10, presumably Ben 10: Galactic Racing, is listed as a key title with 600,000 units split between Europe and North America. Soulcalibur V is considered a key overseas release for 2012. For overseas markets, Namco Bandai plans to narrow down releases and focus on strong franchises.
