Second Final Fantasy Type-0 Demo Coming To PSN Next Week

Final Fantasy Type-0 is out in Japan and Square Enix released a demo prior to its launch. The Natsubi demo is still on Japan’s PlayStation Store. If you missed both of those there’s a second demo titled "Zero Type" coming on November 22. In addition to all of the unlockable summer clothing items, this demo gives players a Growth Egg which doubles the experience points you earn.

Save data from the "Zero Type" demo can be transferred over to Final Fantasy Type-0 so you can keep the extra costumes and bonus experience points. Square Enix will remove the Natsubi demo the same day the "Zero Type" demo arrives on the PlayStation Store.

    growth egg beh- i got mog amulet 4x the experince point. summer costumes are ok but the best ones are the last ones royal (costumes from spp online!

    anyways that’s good there giving those items for newcomers to begain.

    btw am 100% sure that there wont be any NA news for a year or so. not after this whole XIII-2 been out for over 2 3 months maybe,

      I agree, I’m not expecting any localization news for a long time.  Though if we get to E3 and they still don’t say anything I will be very confused.

        lol E3? Don’t you mean TGS (ya know, the Japanese gaming convention)?
        And you honestly think the PSP will still be alive in the West by then? Keep on dreaming.

          There would be little advantage for them announcing a game for the west to local Japanese audiences who have had the game for a year.  So no, I did not mean Tokyo Game Show. 

          And no, I don’t expect the PSP to be very lively, but there are solutions to that.

            E3 this year showcased VERY few Japanese games 2011 or did it privately. It think the best way to do it is just announce it randomly one day rather than at an event, where it has a chance of being forgotten about due to the tough competition.

      Then the appeal of the demo is totally killed.Maybe you get the mog amulet very late in the game?

    I hope they include a link to download this from their website like what happened with the first demo, since having to download this from the store would require me to change my psp account settings to sync with the JP PSN, thus preventing me from playing every other game I downloaded off the EU PSN store…Oh well, beggars can’t be choosers, I’ll be fine with whatever I get :D

    A… second… demo? Guess they didn’t like how it’s been selling, or else this growth egg would’ve been released as DLC or something. Wait, this demo will be free, right? We’re talking about Squeenix here.

    I hope they talked about a localization because they know people want it, it’s like they’re trolling us.

      Already happened for them to sell demo duedecim and maybe other i don’t know about so it isn’t impossible they will do it again.

        I wonder because the contents in the demo make it look more like DLC.

            They said it’s a demo not dlc with gameplay and if it’s a demo it shouldn’t be sold not matter what the demo give.
            Even if the demo was 99% of the wholes game a demo is still a demo.
            Also yes they did give aerith with the demo but you have lot of demo out there who give you stuff for the main games and the demo are still free…
            So giving a assist character isn’t a good reason enough to sell a demo…

        Those numbers look nice, but then I don’t really know why they’re doing this. Perhaps they want to use this second demo as advertisement and as DLC at the same time (which they couldn’t if it was DLC only).

          I would figure it’s for advertisement. I dunno why all of these people started assuming it would be DLC as if Duodecim was the norm for Squenix.

    To anyone who has played the full game, did Squeenix ever fixed the camera issues from the first demo?

      It doesn’t freak out or anything for me like it did in the demo, so yes its fixed.  There are some people who just plain don’t like the style of camera though.  I personally like it.

    I guess anyone not in JPN should just enjoy the demo and wait.
    Since they said the game was aimed at Europe and the US I’m thinking it’s a strong chance of it coming over. Maybe stronger that Versus’ chances of coming over with it being model so much after Tokyo. I’d rather play demos then nothing, so let’s try to be patient.

    Since the PSP is all but considered dead in the West, I see S-E making plans to localize this game for the Vita launch and maybe an HD PSN/PS3 version as well like how they are doing FFX HD version; hence the wait and the secrecy about it all…

      I really hope that you are right.Vita is not too far away and even if they would have chosen to localize it on the psp they would have take 6 months anyway.

    Gah! I still haven’t finished the first demo yet! I’ve got two more missions to do! Why do these missions take a bit of time to complete? I’d be able to do them on the bus if they weren’t so long…

    I couldn’t wait for this game to be localized for other regions so I imported it from Play-Asia. And for all my money’s worth. This game is definitely worth more than it’s original price. Something fresh once again. The only thing I didn’t like was that Square Enix made such an amazing game for a portable and yet Final Fantasy XIII didn’t even come close to this. It’s quite sad really. Sure the graphics were top notch but story was so linear. It’s so good I ordered the OST too. It’s amazing.

      When you say “linear” you meant side quest and such or are you trying to say the story changes on what you do/say? Hopefully you’re talking about sidequest!

    Argh! I want this game so badly! but I want to play a localized version… I could import (or buy it off of the Japanese PSN) it, as I can understand Japanese, but I’m not fluent in it. Would definitely rather have it in English though…

    i really hope this comes to europe/america in english, if not i’ll buy the import version, i understand some japanese but not alot, so i’m keeping my hopes up for a long psp game like final fantasy type 0 !
