Hyperdimension Neptunia Mk2 Is Coming To North America And Europe This February

Hyperdimension Neptunia Mk2 brings players back to Gamindustri, which is now under Arfoire’s control. The four goddess CPUs from the first game have been captured and it’s up to their younger sisters to save them. Nepgear from Planeptune teams up with console war veterans IF and Compa on a quest to restore Gamindustri in this game.

 

 

Compile Heart created a new battle system for Hyperdimension Neptunia Mk2, which lets players move characters on the battlefield. The game interface is totally different too – it’s a twist on Twitter with parodies of video game characters "chirping." Hyperdimension Neptunia Mk2 is slated for release on PS3 in North America and Europe in February 2012.

      LOL,most likely another 1,000000000 people are thinking the exact same thing so i really don´t think this sequel is going to reach $100USD for aun used copy.
      I´ll still buy it as i loved the 1st one.

    The battle system might be decent now.

    I know Compile Heart makes crap games, but why do I always end up buying them and sometimes even finishing them?

    This will go into the “I can’t help it but hand you my money” pile of games.

    Otaku marketing at its best.

      I’ve yet to play a game from them that was crap. Mediocre? Sure, quite a of them actually. But they’re not bad, though not necessarily GOOD either, yet they honestly show a lot of potential and each game I’ve seen from them HAS been improved upon, so at the very least they show that they’re trying which is more than can be said for some developers. So perhaps that’s why you buy and play them, they’re simply a diamond in the rough getting a little more polished each attempt.

      You haven’t beat Neptune yet, you will beat it in a week at least and 13 once you get out of the linear area you will be done in a way.
      But yeah so can’t wait for it to come so far I have money on the side to get FFXIII-2 Collectors and MK2 if there is a collectors for that.

        Ah thats good to hear with 13 I am up chapter 12 after beating the ProudClad the 2nd time. But I hope to get MK2 asap since I heard that the first one was difficult to find and was expensive the copy I have is from gamestop. Also hoping for some things like a art book in MK2.

      Hmmm…I remember the font being small, but not really an issue, really. Unless you don’t have an HDTV, then yeah, I’d understand.

      I remember when I first got my Xbox 360 years ago, I didn’t have an HDTV. You ever try playing Dead Rising on a plain old CRT TV? It’s impossible! （。＞。＜。）

        haha, yeah I had the same experience playing on the PS3 with a standard TV. All the words were tiny and hard to read! Thankfully that only lasted a bit and we got a HDTV pretty quick. It made quite the difference.

          Yep! The text in Dead Rising was literally near impossible to read! It had like a 4 pt font! I think Capcom eventually released a patch because a lot of people were complaining since HDTV’s weren’t really the norm like they are now. Yeah, thankfully, we got an HDTV soon after, too! （*＾ワ＾*）

      You might be in luck. Atelier Meruru might come out in April or May. xD That gives you a little time to get more cash.

      But anyways, I like how so much is coming out. I still think about when the ps3 first came out… Compared to that mess this is awesome.

    but NISA game will be high priority for me, this gen they are quite consistant supporting and localizaing console game, (plus they are also the only publisher could constantly give dual voice option in console jrpg, and always openly confirm or deny about the availability of the option in their game )

    This is all good but but I still have to get skyrim, AC, MW3, chrono cross, FFV 5-6, Kingdoms of Alamur, FF 13-2, Graces, Dragons Crown, Grand Knights History, Halo 1 remake, Forza 4, War in the North, Battlefield 3, and Vita with games, and now this. I,m going to have to get another job just to support a hobby!

      Should not be that surprising about IF. Put up almost no resistance toward RED and was very obviously infatuated with Vert and 5pb.

      I doubt that the relationship system will be that deep… but we can still hope. :)

        That scene has nothing to do with the Lily system, but it does have some story importance.

        The Lily system just gives you events with your party members via the Chriper system, and allows you to do team attacks with certain ones once the level is maxed.

        It also determines what “extra” endings you’ll get.

    This game is giving me mixed feelings. I’m fine with the gameplay now, but the overdose of Moe is annoying.

      Don’t judge a game by it’s trailer, especially when NiSA is involved.

      And coming from someone who has the Japanese version, I can assure you it’s not an overdose of moe in the least bit. Mk2 takes it’s story more seriously than the first game, and the gameplay is much much better.

        Fair enough, as the first game is very lacking in moe as well. But I mean, come on, all this loli and moe is very bad for it’s image if it wants to at least be taken somewhat seriously as something outside of a guilty pleasure game at best. How soon does Neptune become relevant to th plot (outside of the Tentacle bondage scene in the beginning) and become a party member? I only bought the original because of Melissa Fahn and that’s kind of a major factor for me.
