this is Extreeeeeeeeeeeeemely good news for the japanese and for those who want to import their games like Gundam Extreme Versus :)

just received recently KOFXIII and Tekken Hybrid.

amazing stuff but kinda wish they added Nina and Anna as playable characters(they are in the movie afterall)

please Namco Bandai localize Gundam Extreme Versus!!!!!

only Armored Core V is the mech game coming here in the west.

that is why i want ZOE3 now.

since it could potentially renew an interest in the mech genre in the west.

imagine if ZOE3 is successful. many companies will now follow suit and try to get some of that cake :P

cannot wait for KOFXIII in the future tournaments.

we’ll see some crazy high level battles O_O

    • Solomon_Kano

We may not have to wait on ZOE’s success if the collection shocks the world and sells oodles… that’s unlikely though, so hopefully ACV and ZOE3 reinvigorate the genre!

      • PrinceHeir

        with you :)

if ZOE HD Collection(which is a DAY 1 to me, Limited Edition if available just like MGS HD Collection) prove that there is an audience here.

i would be soo happy if that happens :P

now we could get a taste of the amazing Mech games outside of japan :P

        • Solomon_Kano

ZOE HD is a day 1 for me too. Such amazing games and they were terribly overlooked originally. If its success led to us seeing more mech games I would be incredibly happy. We definitely don’t see enough.

  • Solomon_Kano

I want to import Extreme but… well, Full Boost is on the way and that could see a PS3 version too. Then again, there’s nothing else to sate my want for Gundam. *sigh* I feel like Keroro. Decisions, decisions.

    • Gatchaman1

      full who?

    • godmars

If that’s the case you’ll never be buying a version of the game because there will always be an updated version coming.

This is N/B we’re talking about afterall.

Though honestly I’ll proabbly be waiting till the import price is around $50 for the same reason.

      • Solomon_Kano

Yea, I know. It’s not quite the same when you’d be buying a version after the update was already announced, though. It’d be like buying SFIV when Arcade Edition came out.

I wouldn’t even care if not for the fact that, like you alluded too, it costs so much to import as is. Why import the lesser version?

        • PrinceHeir

is there anyway that Full boos could be updated for the console versions as a patch???

i mean if Arc System Works did it with Blazblue CS1>>>>CS2

i can’t see why Namco can’t do the same with this game.

then again im not familiar on how namco handle these kind of things

          • Solomon_Kano

It’s certainly possible, but we don’t yet know the nature of the changes introduced by Full Boost. If it’s minor tweaks and some characters, then most likely. But if the changes are larger, then who knows.

          • mikanko

Gundam Extreme Vs. is both developed and being ported to PS3 by Capcom actually…

but yeah, uh apparently DLC updates don’t do too well in Japan, so I’d say an upgrade via patch only is unlikely.  If anything it’d be both a dlc patch and a disc release, but seeing as how it’s not even in arcades yet you’re still looking at six months to a year minimal before they even make console plans.

    • HeatPhoenix

It’ll be 3 years minimum before Full Boost hits shelves.

    • eilegz

i remember it happened the same when they released gundam vs gundam next plus for PSP, they anounced extreme vs for arcade 2010 and it took a long time to get a new revision to console so its not bad… but yeah it sucks to have it like this

      • Solomon_Kano

Indeed it does. I think I’m just gonna end up getting Extreme VS anyway.

  • aoihana

    Don’t you mean Gundam goes Trans-am?! 。。。。。。3==3(((〝▼皿▼)

  • malek86

Mario Kart 7 should make a big splash. I wish I cared about it, so I could actually buy it and have fun, but I was never a fan of the series. The free GBA version will be enough.

And I had almost forgot about Doctor Lautrec. Maybe it will be worth checking out.

    • aoihana

That’s a shame! Mario Kart 7 will be awesome, so reconsider it! (◕‿◕✿)

      • OneOkami

I started losing interest in Mario Kart in the midst of Double Dash and DS when I realized that racing online wasn’t fun at all because of the whole “snaking” technique that I refused to learn how to do, and the items you get depend on probability based on your position in the race instead of being random, and after getting hit with a blue shell 5ft away from the finish line and losing for the 20th time, I dropped the game and the series.

        • Tom_Phoenix

There is no “snaking” in Mario Kart 7.

          • OneOkami

The position-based probability of the items you get is just as big an issue for me.  Has that been changed?

I hope that  King of Fighters and  Sonic Generations sells at least 200.000 copies each one, in their total life. Please Japan, give Sonic and Kyo (or Mai, lol) a little of love.

Tak Fuji would be proud of this title.

Just preordered off play-asia. Really hope this fills the void that games like battle assault left  :’(

  • z_merquise

Now this would be SNK’s chance to redeem themselves. My only wish is for KOF XIII to be a success inside and outside of Japan.

I don’t want SNK to end up looking like a bunch of jabronis again like what happened to them with KOF 12 and (ugh!) Samurai Shodown Sen (maximum ugh!!).

    Gundam Extreme…GET HERE SOONER. >:

Why do you have to be so costly, imports? ;___; However, I’d say that the money is well spent towards Extreme VS

  • eilegz

I wonder if anyone here can help me… It seems that gundam extreme VS have online… what i saw so far its online multiplayer vs match, which its important, what i couldn’t find was online cooperative for arcade mode, which its FUN and sometimes its good to play with a friend against the computer… IN PSP i remember that with adhoc party we could play the missiones mode and arcade mode online… so i wonder if extreme vs will have that….
