Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus Izuna Drops Onto PlayStation Vita In FebruaryTeam Ninja’s first PlayStation Vita game is a port of Ninja Gaiden Sigma. Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus has a new hero difficulty and modified controls designed for PlayStation Vita.

"Being a portable device, players will want to play it in smaller chunks. We’re going to incorporate the play style from Ninja Gaiden 3 into Ninja Gaiden Sigma," said Yosuke Hayashi in an interview with Siliconera. "It will feel different than Ninja Gaiden 3, but if you play both you can enjoy everything Ninja Gaiden has been and is now."

Famitsu reports Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus is almost complete. The game will be ready for release in Japan next February, priced at 6,090 yen ($79).

I thought for a moment it was a crossover featuring Izuna the Unemployed Ninja in glorious 3D. That would have been awesome.

Ryu works hard for lots of money and she spends it in mere minutes on dango.

That’s what i thought too. I want a new Izuna game ;~; Or more Izuna crossovers. She seems like a fun character to use in action/adventure games like these… Maybe with a more fitting and brighter setting though XD

Eeeeh, don’t think I want. Already played it on PS3, see no need to retread old ground on Vita. Especially since it’s just the first game- if it had been some kind of collection with one and two, I might have been interested.

God dammit. I see Izuna and my mind automatically reads Inazuma.

There’s no escaping that series >__< I swear I see stuff related to it everywhere. I might as well hang a big sign up saying "Level-5 owns my soul" at this point. *sighs*
