We’ve seen an onslaught of new Final Fantasy XIII-2 information over the past couple of weeks as the game’s December 15 Japanese release date steadily approaches. If you’re looking to actually go hands-on with the game before it comes out, well, here’s one way: the Uphoria – Party in Singapore this Saturday will feature a demo build of Final Fantasy XIII-2.
The event takes place on December 3 at *Scape from 12pm to 6pm, the Uphoria party will also feature the latest demo build of Street Fighter X Tekken, set up with MadCatz Tournament Edition sticks. As with the XIII-2 demo, this is the first time gamers in Singapore will be able to go hands-on with the latest round of unveiled fighters: Rolento, Zangief, Heihachi and Lili.
Other highlights include a Sony Ericsson Xperia Play corner – come meet the lovely Alodia Gosiengfiao, renowned Filipino cosplayer, TV host, and an ambassador for the Xperia Play (here’s a conversation starter: "so how do you pronounce your last name?") – as well as the grand finals of a FIFA12 tournament and kiosks for other PS3 titles such as Dynasty Warriors 7 Xtreme Legends and NBA2K12.
From 7pm onwards there will also be a concert featuring artistes like Californian pop rock band Train and American singer-songwriter Mike Posner, but this is closed off to ticket-holders only. You can, however, try to score last-minute tickets at hourly lucky draws from 12 to 6pm.
