Chie Kicks Teddie’s Butt In Persona 4: The Ultimate In Mayonaka Arena

… but then gets electrified by Persona 4 protagonist Yu Narukami. This video is from a location test Arc System Works is running in Japan and I believe the first video with Teddie. In earlier builds, Teddie wasn’t playable. Maybe we’ll get to see him pull off his Teddie Circus move soon, a super attack where Teddie dresses up like a clown and balances on a ball.

      X3 Oh, aoihana! Thank you so much!!! Was planning on doing that anyway. She’s adorable, and I love her tomboyish personality. How she fights is funny and cool too. Love her so much. She will definitely become my main! I cannot wait for this game! :)

      No one should be afraid of the fighting game characters that people choose, nor is it acceptable to make fun of anyone for picking a certain character. One of my mains in KOF is Ash Crimson. Am I afraid to show it off? Nope. No one should. I mostly pick girls in fighting games, mainly because they have some of the most graceful or useful moves compared to other characters, like Rachel Alucard (my main in Blazblue), or Xiaoyu (one of my mains in Tekken). Does that make me a pedo? Of course not! Not only am I 16 so I can’t be one anyway, but we, the gamers have that right, and there’s nothing that anyone can do to stop us. It’s unfair for only a certain type of person to pick a certain type of characters. They wouldn’t have been included in the roster if that rule applied anyway. Common sense. Thanks again, aoihana!

        Definitely. Girls in fighting games, like you said, are usually so graceful! I always pick them. In fact, when I get a fighting game, I always look through all of the girls in the game, and decide who’s my favorite. They usually are the most badass. （*＾ワ＾*）Girls could fight too, you know!

        No one should ever be ashamed of their characters, it’s just a game! And don’t worry, although YouTube is an awesome place, it’s home to some real scum, too. I’ve seen some of the trolls there, and they aren’t very pretty! Though, I don’t think anyone here would make fun of something so trivial! (◕‿◕✿)

          Well of course I know that, but what I’m saying is that people make fun of other people who mains and/or favors Ash just because of his appearance and mannerism. That is wrong. Seen that many times, and it’s just stupid.

          Besides, I love fighting game trolls, and other than I-no and Hazama, Ash Crimson is one of the most well known and best fighting game troll out there. Too bad he died. I’ll miss him, though I think SNK will bring him back in someway like they did with Vice and Mature. Hope so! X3

            Oops. Forgot that you don’t have the game yet. Yeah he died, but I won’t spoil more and say how he did die. It’s worse than getting killed. That’s my only hatred towards KOF13. My favorite character is gone!

            …Well, I wouldn’t say Ash DIED, but he’s most certainly not around by the end of the story mode. You’ll get it when you play it.

            No. Trust me. Ash Crimson is officially a troll. He can be good, bad, or an anti hero, he is still a troll. Said by SNK once, and many fans said that too.

    Only thing that worries me about this game is that the fighting styles of most of the cast could be too similar but that’s something you’ll only be able to really tell from playing it.

      No its something you can actually tell by looking at the vids that are already out for the game.  Nobodies alike and the team that makes this game makes sure of that.

    Teddie is playable. It was reported on Shoryuken that a Japanese player called  Nantoka manage to play as some characters and write some notes down. One of those was Teddie.

    How come the most boring character in the anime gets the best persona, lol. So unfair. Oh well that persona is quite cool. I hope for more of these videos except with Kanji, Yosuke, and Akihiko & Mitsuru.

      No one cares what you have to say if you’re basing just off of that. Not to be rude, but they’ll have a LOT of developing to do, and I’ve yet to see an anime that does a game – especially a character development heavy game like Persona 4 – justice yet.

      So, sans Yukiko, who was only semi-bland at worst in the game, all of the characters are interesting.

        I thought the anime has been fantastic at developing the characters. I thought it would be a heavy action show but the attention to showing and evolving the characters was great. I dont think the anime based on the game should be discounted for not being a true pure caricature of the characters as they are presented in the game.

        The anime does actually pretty good justice to the game. I’d go as far as to call it better than the game in some aspects. It’s simply better paced and concentrates on what’s important on the characters. True enough you develop a deeper bond with them in the game simply because you hang out with them a long time, but it’s not a necessity to put us through all that in the anime as well.
