Caster’s New Clothes Or Fate/Extra CCC Has New Costumes

Everyone in Fate/Extra CCC has a new outfit, it seems. Famitsu revealed Saber, Caster, and Archer’s new costumes for the PSP game. Just like Fate/Extra, players choose one of the three Servants as a partner character.

Type-Moon created new school uniforms for the player characters too. Screenshots of their original costumes from Fate/Extra are below for comparison.

Fate/Extra CCC is slated for release for PSP in spring 2012 in Japan.

    Oh man.. I gotta say, I do like Caster’s outfit. *secretly a fan of gothic lolita* The hat is adorable~
    Bride Saber still looks weird to me. XD I don’t think I’ll get used to it for a while.
    Archer… um… ^^; No comment. *whistles*

    The male MC looks great in black, imo. XD Much better than his EXTRA outfit. But the FeMC looks TOTALLY better in the EXTRA uniform than this black sailor fuku, imo.

    I don’t mind Saber Bride, as it looks pretty good. Caster’s costume looks really nice and the addition of the hat really makes the costume cute. It seems like her breast got bigger, but it’s probably because Caster looked more modest in the first game. Exposing more makes it look bigger?

    Stupid sexy Archer, I kind of expected this from the man who created gar. Trading his skin-tight body armor for a jacket and no shirt, exposing his great body and causing males to question their sexuality. Male MC looks the same, just with more black. I prefer the FeMC’s original school uniform but not really sure why, she just looks better in it?

    I was hoping FeMC to have those long stockings but she still looks good in the black uniform. MC looks a lot better in black too! I still don’t like much Saber Bride but Caster looks pretty cute! I thought she was a little more… flat though. And Archer, gawd, why you so sexy? I was hoping to choose either Caster or Saber this time but man, you make it difficult xD. It would have being good to have other servants (I want Gil or Lancer) but I’m pretty happy so far.

    I….actually really love Saber’s new outfit. And if she acts anywhere near as cute as she did in the first game, I will probably die of blood loss. Caster too.

    Archer….god dammit Archer. That’s all there really is to say on the matter.

    For some reason, these outfits make me giggle more than they make me swoon. I don’t know- I guess it’s just the fact that while they previously looked like warriors of ages past (well, everyone save for Caster), now the girls look like every other JRPG magician girl out there and Archer looks like he just popped out of that… anime about dudes fighting in some closed city and they make out with each other too. Inu something or other.

    That is to say- they look kind of TOO fan-servicey and out there. I feel like they are less about the personality of the character, more about how the artist can show more skin.

    The two new main character outfits look okay, but I might be the odd one out in that they don’t appeal to me so that I’d want to replace the ones in the original game.

    I can get behind the new costumes for Saber and Archer. But not Caster’s new goth outfit. I love Caster and I might’ve been okay with the costume -without- the hat… but with the hat? Sorry, I really dislike it.
