Melty Blood: Actress Again Current Code Will Get Online Play And You Can Try It

The latest arcade build of Melty Blood is coming to PC on December 31. Type-Moon is bundling the fighting game with Carnival Phantasm 3rd season on Blu-ray. When Actress Again Current Code ships it won’t have online play, but a patch will add it to the PC version sometime in 2012.

 

Ecole plans on testing their netcode and are looking for fans to download a demo of Melty Blood: Actress Again Current Code that has online battle support. You can get the demo for free on December 12 at 2PM (Japan time) from Concerto, the official Melty Blood site. Arcueid, Red Arcueid, Sion Eltnam Atlasia, and Sion Tatari will be playable in the demo version.

      You don’t really need a translation for a fighting game… But I guess it wouldn’t hurt to actually have one.

      On another note, I can’t wait for the demo!

        Well I do like to play fighting games for the story as well as the competitive spirit. Also I’m very wary of buying import games due to the langauge barrier, even if it is small.

    Still hoping they announce a way to buy the game without having to pony up over 100 clams for an anime blu-ray dvd I’ll never watch.

    They apparently convinced mauve to stop work on his fan-made netcode that was pretty awesome in previous Melty games. While I’m hoping the online is good, I’m not going to hold my breath with the drastic difference in Japan’s quality of internets.

    Sigh. The Americas really need fiber optics everywhere, like a year ago.

    i don’t think alot of people have BD Drives on the PC.

    anyways it’s a shame there’s no console release.

    would love to play it along with Arcana Heart 3 :D

    oh well at least it’s on PC where Online play is great :P

      I heard no news from them about another Power Instinct game for over a year. I really hope that Melty Blood and Power Instinct will come on PSN. One can dream I suppose, but it will really mean a lot to us fighting game fans…….

      Mugen is a really awesome program……if it wouldn’t had been overpopulated with awful characters or impossible to defeat characters. It took months for me to find a balanced roster, so in comparison to real fighting games, Mugen is just a little feather……:)

      Why would you even announce that like you’re proud of it? Do your part and support the developers who work very hard to make the games you love.

      Please support Type-Moon, they really deserve it. Melty Blood is an amazing game, and it’ll have online play, too.

      Just a word of advice: I wouldn’t talk about piracy here, I’ve seen people get banned for it. Especially when you proclaim it so shamelessly (◕‿◕✿)

      I don’t care about piracy, but I don’t think you should just yell that out loud. And like Alexis, Shane, and aoihana said, support them please. They wouldn’t do all that hard work just so people can just download it for free. If they found out, then they would not put it on the PC anymore, which many people do not want obviously. I know you don’t want that, right? So yeah…..support, people please.

      I do hope you have intention to buy the games after if you like the game.

      It happen sometime for me to download illigally if i’m not sure if i will like the game but if i like the game i buy after.

      But just downloading illigally without any intent of buying the game later is stupid and well i don’t want to throw insult in here. 

      Of course i don’t say the way i’m doing things is right either but unfortunatly i don’t have the money to buy every games i find interesting and by doing that i bought games i would have probably never have bought otherwise.

    Yahoo! Will definitely get this if it has online play support. As always I’m counting on MM for the translation patch!
    waited for ages for the PC release and the language barrier won’t stop me now from playing this with my friends! >:D

    I never got the chance to play this, so I’ll try the demo out. I really do wish there was an official release of these games overseas, I buy them in a heartbeat. I like a lot of the Type-Moon stuff, however I’m mostly familiar with Fate and Tsu… damn I can’t remember the original… the series that Melty Blood is based off of.

    I’m with everyone that says this should come to PSN, but aside from that they should also bring it to Steam (as it’s already been made for PC).

    If Gundeadligne can come to Steam so can Melty Blood.
