RealStyle, an entertainment company formed by a former Koei executive, and Star Ocean developer tri-Ace are working on a game. A teaser site hints it’s a new kind of adventure drama and Siliconera found another clue… the game may be based on Mito Komon.
Mito Komon is one of the longest running dramas series in Japan. It’s about a retired daimyo who rights wrongs and beats up gangsters with his new found free time. Tokyo Broadcasting System plan to end the series at the end of this year. A convenient time for Komon to continue his adventures online.
So what does tri-Ace have to do with this? RealStyle filed a trademark for Komon-sama Legend.
Going back to the clues from the teaser site, it mentions an adventure drama and Komon-sama Legend could fit that description.
