Tecmo Koei says these are an evolution of Danger Zones from previous titles are supposed to replicate the climactic scenes of action movies.

 

Knowing where Dynamic Attractions are can be a battle tactic. Characters have a new special attack called a "power blow", which sends an opponent flying and, if you time it correctly, right into a trap.

 

Dead or Alive 5 is slated for release in 2012 on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
