thats cool i guess ill have to pick this up it they dont release BBCSE launch day or earlier

  • TheMysticalNinja

$349…Ahaha oh man, you Americans and your overpriced…What’s that? $349 equals roughly £225, which is still £75 more cheaper then the PlayStation Vita 3G/WiFi in the UK (and that’s with no bundles)…America, have I told you how much I love you :D

    • http://tristsantithesis.tumblr.com/ Tsunayoshi Sawada

Hm? 349.99 includes the 4 GB Card, the Game, and 3G Vita, and some trinket. The regular 3G Vita is $299, how does it come out cheaper in the UK?

      • Testsubject909

So, who else pre-ordered the wifi only Vita first edition?

      • TheMysticalNinja

I thought I made it clear that it is cheaper in America o_O

In the UK, The PlayStation Vita 3G/WiFi is £300. The WiFi only version is £229.99
PlayStation Vita – 3G/WiFi in the US is $299 – in the UK that would come to around £193.27
PlayStation Vita – with just WiFi is $249 – in the Uk would come to around £160.93

If I brought the bundle from America, I would be saving roughly £75 compared to if i brought a bundleless PS Vita 3G/WiFi version in the UK.

        • http://tristsantithesis.tumblr.com/ Tsunayoshi Sawada

Ah I see, I got lost in your first statement, haha, sorry about that.

        • manobon

Wait, so then shouldn’t anyone in the UK planning on buying a Vita buy the US “version”? It isn’t region locked, so you can set it to your UK account and everything, no? Shipping can’t be more than £75, right? Should I end Every sentence with a question mark?

          • TheMysticalNinja

Meh those who have realized that we get screwed when it comes to prices will find out the info I did :D Yeah It’s not region locked hence why I will be defo getting it from you guys :D (found a site that will let me make an american account – http://www.myus.com/) and yeah shipping won’t be that bad :D I dunno, should I end every sentence with a big grin :D

Now I just hope Dragon Crown gets a localization :D

          • manobon

            Yes- Every sentence, ALWAYS!

And Gamefaqs (yeah, I know) has “Q2 2012″ Release data for all regions…so maybe-hurray!

It isn’t. He was implying a vanilla 3G Vita in the UK is £300 which is $465. He envies US prices.

The value of the US dollar has dropped significantly in the last half dozen years when compared to the rest of the world.  Unfortunately for those of us in the US we didn’t get raises from our employers to offset this change. =/

I wonder if stores will just sell the regular vita systems early too, I cant imagine they wont have them in stock…

    • Solomon_Kano

They’ll have them, but selling them would defeat the purpose of the First Edition bundle releasing early.

      • http://tristsantithesis.tumblr.com/ Tsunayoshi Sawada

I thought the purpose behind the bundle is just promo to get more buyers of the pricier version that includes all that stuff?  I cant see people actually opting to get this one just to play it “early”.

        • Solomon_Kano

I can’t either, but their hope is that somebody will. Of course, what you say is also part of the intent.

Little incentive as there is to get it, there’d be absolutely no incentive to get that bundle if it released next to the “normal” edition.

          • Testsubject909

            But… I’m in Canada.

I have the wifi first edition version. Counting the Vita at 250$ by itself, i get a 4GB HDD, a holding case and a game that would’ve naturally bumped the price up to 300$ anyways, which is what the bundle costs.

If anything. I figure I pay the regular price if Vitas naturally come with a 4GB HDD and if not, I’m saving money.

…Oh right. The US has the 3G/Wifi version only huh? You could double check, see if you could order the Wifi only version…

I won’t be buying this til after launch, but it’s cool that there’ll be another game available to those with the First Edition bundle.

I really like that Ultimate Controller idea too. That’ll definitely be how I play if I ever play with someone who has the PS3 version.

    • CudaBiro

Considering that the 3g Vita alone is $300, $350 for a memory card and a game isn’t a bad deal.

      • darkfox1

Yeah I actually didn’t think about the Vita being 300$ and this bunclde comes with a 4GB and a game. I guess if you bought separately it be a lil more than 400$. I guess it’s just I wouldn’t personally pay that much. I will get the Vita but not at launch.
