Square Enix is working on something called Guardian Cross. The publisher filed a trademark Guardian Cross in Europe and snapped up the domain name: guardiancross.net. Right now it’s blank, but registration information links it to Square Enix CEO Yoichi Wada.
Back in August, we discovered Square Enix reserved the domain Bravely Default, which was revealed a few weeks later as a Nintendo 3DS game.
There are a couple of projects Guardian Cross could be tied to. The rumored PS3/Vita game is a possibility, but the upcoming arcade game tieup with ByKing seems more likely since Square Enix will reveal that on January 11.
A tip of the hat to Liam for the heads up about the domain name!
