BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend Limited Edition Is Just For PS3/360Aksys Games will release two versions of BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend in North America. A standalone game for PS3, Xbox 360 or Vita is $39.99. The $59.99 limited edition for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 includes a 40 page art book, soundtrack CD (track list here), and a 2012 calendar.

 

BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend is slated for release on February 14, which will give you a little more than week to practice for the BlazBlue Revolution US Finals. Aksys will select a team of three BlazBlue champions and send them to Japan with full airfare and accommodations provided to compete in the main tournament.

    I’m happy for everyone who wants this, but crud. I still wish this was for the Vita as well because I’m more of a portable gamer, and fighting games aren’t an exception. Oh well. I’ll get Persona 4 on the Vita instead. I’m still getting this just for the calender and art book. Blazblue art is just too beautiful to pass up. X3

      I plan to get Vita, but much later with Persona 4 for it. I’m going to get this game since I like BlazBlue very much. These limited editions are killing me wallet! XD

    I am going to get bored of everything but the game.

    And it will happen each time a LE with an artbook comes out, ad infintum

    because for some reason I just love physical copies of those damned things

    rar, I really was hoping for that giant stuffed Jubei T3T;; This LE is pretty nice though, but don’t figure I’ll bother with Extend where I already picked up some of the DLC characters with CS2. Plus I just don’t think enough people will be picking up Extend locally. Seems like a nice release for people looking to get into the series though owo;

    I wonder how big the calendar is. Desk top size with a picture per month, or a picture for every two months?

      The calendar has a nice image per month! :) It will be 5″ (W) x 6.25″ (H)

    In Europe, BlazBlue CS Extend will come with a Limited Edition for PSVita, as seen on Amazon.fr ( http://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B006PR08UE ). We will also have this edition for PS3 et 360… But we will have less content : this European Limited Edition will come with the SounTrack and 12 sketches only.

    Calenders are a waste of space in a limited edition, imagine someone hunting down a copy years down the road, they’ll be happily greeted with a calender from 2012 when maybe it’s 2014

    I might leave it the summer. Don’t get wrong, I would love to import this limited edition since the delays for CS’s EU release ware dreadful but… too… many… good games coming out in Spring! Can’t spend too much money.

    Nice try but i’m still not buying it even if all that stuff is tempting.  Well maybe i’ll buy it later on but most def not day 1 as there’s way to much stuff for me to play.

    Well time to somehow pull a miracle and get 60$ cause I want that artbook man I am a total sucker for those things! Man is it just me or artbooks are starting to become more common I mean Neptunia Mk-2 and FFXIII-2 has one now even BB gets one.

      You would be better off just importing the official Japanese artworks book like I did. These LE books rarely give you anything worth while and are generally very poorly made. Also 40 pages usually = 20 double sided.

    Amazon (US) has this for $40 currently (360 or PS3). Same price as the standard editions.

    I hope I can get this day one, I need to train up, I want to win that tournament. And the art book as well as the CD are very appealing.
