Gravity Rush’s Challenge Missions Are The Key To Unlocking Kat’s Abilities

gravitydazeGravity Rush has two kinds of missions. Story missions move the plot forward and have bosses to fight. Challenge missions are like side quests. Complete these and you earn precious gems, which power Kat up.

Famitsu explains precious gems let players level up Kat’s abilities. Kat’s main skill is gravity bending which lets her walk on walls and slam enemies with a sliding kick. Kat also has a gravity glove that lifts objects, a throw attack, and a special attack.

 

Gravity Rush comes out in Japan on February 9 and is a PlayStation Vita launch game in North America.
