Persona 3 Social Links Up With One Million MembersWhen we last checked on Persona 3 Social, the game surpassed 500,000 members in just two months. That was back in October 2010.

 

Persona 3 Social now has one million members in Japan as of January 2012. While the game’s growth decelerated, Persona 3 Social has a sizable fanbase. Index Holdings hopes to expand on its success with Persona 4 Social, which the company plans to release in just a few days.

 

In addition to a PlayStation 2 turned Vita game, Persona 4 expanded into an animation series running on TBS and has a fighting game spinoff slated for release this summer.

      Not too sure about that, one million people crammed in the Velvet Room wanting Persona Fusions. Even in Innocent Sin the room wasnt big….. I doubt he would even be able to breathe with that many people crammed in there.

        Hmmm.. Well, I think Velvet Room can change sizes aside from form. Probably there’s not much problem for it and its long nosed host to modify it for a million guests. >: D

        Elizabeth would probably be happeh too.

    While i am happy for this news, i just hope this won’t make them think that making social game is more profitable than doing the game we are all playing.

    I knew a Persona 4 Social was just a matter of time, even before Persona 4 really got spun off in so many different directions.

    What is this game, actually? I’ve been hearing about it since it was announced, but I can’t remember anyone ever posting what you *do*. Is it a phone app? Is it PersonaVille? Is it Façadebook?

      agreed hopfully they use the money toward the production for persona five of course i hope they take their time since it takes time to make a masterpiece and if it has the level of story and characters as persona 3 (havent played four yet just watch the anime) then it will be awesome :D oh and hopfully it has anime cutscenes…yes i know im asking too much but please atlus :3

      SMT yes please. I like persona and all, but I think it’s about time for a full-fledged smt sequel.

    congrats persona 3 is a great game with a good story and characters of course none of them are probably in this but details details :P. now if only someone can adapt persona 3 into a anime
