You Mobile Phone Is The Key To Unlocking Weapons For Konamis Mecha Game

Konami has a Border Break style mecha game where four players can team up in an arcade and shoot monsters called Steel Chronicle. Hunter Chronicle is a social game spinoff that actually connects to Steel Chronicle.

 

Complete a mission in Hunter Chronicle or win a battle with your tiny robot and you’ll win a puzzle piece. Get six and you can unlock an item for the arcade game like parts to customize your robot or weapons. Not sure if this is a first, but it’s an interesting concept to keep players in the Steel Chronicle universe… on their daily commute.

    ….. firstly Senjou no Kizuna makes me weep why my country’s arcade sucks, now with the coming,Gunslinger Stratos, EDF for Arcade, GyroZetter, and this Steel Chronicle.

    I can only hope that i will have enough money to go to Japan to play this game like my school days T_T.

    Well anyway talking about Arcade, while this is kinda unrelated, can anyone tell me is Sega’s Ringedge and Ringwide arcade hardware still coming to japan or it is canceled already? as i have never the news from maybe 2010?

    Boy, it sure would be great if Konami was interested in allowing me to give them money for the privilege of playing this in the comfort of my own country!

    Haven’t heard much about Steel Chronicle since release, but guess it must be doing alright if there doing spin offs. Maybe it’s just me but feels like because of pending Vita a lot of potential PSP titles are really sliding by right now o~o’

    also never heard of Border Break but saw some model kits. Didn’t actually know what it was until this post
