Persona 4: The Golden Has A New Town To Explore

Players can get a moped license in Persona 4: The Golden. It’s one of the new features made for the PlayStation Vita version. In battle, the license lets you use a special attack where an ally can ride a bike into a fight.

On the world map, you the moped can take you to new areas. Famitsu says players can visit a beach and a neighboring town. Yosuke suggests the group takes a trip after you earn your license. Details on how to obtain the license have not been revealed.

Persona 4: The Golden is slated for release this spring in Japan.

Wow, I am loving the additional content that takes place after busting a certain sub-boss and before the true end boss.
One can also wonder if the Animation will feature this new town and beach as well aside from the skiing.

Secure large four wheel construct that holds within itself a cage and a whole slew of secure means by which to keep the driver safe and which is limited in where it can go due to it’s size. 18 years please.
Small less stable 2 wheel construct with minimal security measures to keep the driver safe with less restrictions as to where it can go therefore increasing risks to not only the driver but all those around and capable of reaching similar speeds to a safer 4 wheel construct. 16 year old and emotionally unstable is juuuust fine.

It should work in your favor that you can’t. Just wait for the inevitable next version of the Vita that has all the bugs worked out and is cheaper.

This is really turning into a repeat for everything isn’t it?
“Wait for the inevitably fixed/slim version of [console/portable's name]”
Even for PCs it’s applicable. “Just wait a month, it’ll be cheaper”
But for PCs it’s a bit worse because by that month a better model comes out, so you can wait another month for that one to get cheaper, and since the price of hardware does nothing but go down in a steady manner, it’s really just a continuous waiting game of how cheap can you get/how much money do you want to buy/what’s your price range/how patient are you?

Yeah, I have no freaking idea what thats suppose to mean either. I really wish the people that post the articles here would at least read over what they’ve typed before they submit things. There are so many typos and grammar mistakes on this site, its getting kind of frustrating.

Still not impressed, honestly. This all sounds well and good, I’ve yet to hear that they’ve added anything that’s adding some real depth to the game. These extras sound good, don’t get me wrong, but I sincerely doubt the new content will add hours and hours.
Call me when they man up and fix the social links/add a new character or something.

…they did add a new character. It was some of the first news about the game. Its a girl named Marie if I remember right that has a hat with the same symbol you find in the velvet room.

I wasn’t clear, so I apologize, but I meant like a new party member or something that actually adds to the game as a whole, as opposed to the tons of extras that we’re being given. Nothing that we’ve been told about her thus far indicates she’ll have any huge impact, other than “hey! she’s new! she’s cute! buy this port!”.

I’m just the opposite. The Vita looks amazing, and moreso with each day and game announcement, and yet nothing about this particular port makes it look like it’ll be worth the money to me.

To each their own.
I find the Vita to be quite interesting and provides more growth for gaming/gameplay and Gravity Daze just recently proved that a headtracking like 3D illusion effect can be created utilizing the built-in sixaxis, meaning that if taken advantage of by creative enough or intelligent enough developers, we could be seeing more believable and immersive 3D effects then what could be possible with stereoscopic 3D on the 3DS.
And I’m happy it’s actually two analog sticks.

Sad to say I’m still on the fence with this one. Not offering a female MC when it worked so well with P3P and Atlus got such a positive response from it doesn’t really make much sense to me. I realize since it’s on the Vita that it would require quite a bit more extra work, but I think it would be worth their while in the long run. What they’ve added looks good so far, but I don’t know if it’s enough to make me want to buy the game again. Guess I’ll have to wait and see how it turns out. :)

For the last time, originally P3 was made with a female character and a male character in mind which was dropped late in production, P4 was always made with a male lead in mind from the get go. Also The Golden is more like a P4 version of FES than a portable remake like P3P was

I am aware of that. My opinion still stands. I enjoyed P3P and bought that game BECAUSE we were offered the FeMC option, and I think Atlus is going to be missing out on a large portion of P3P players who feel the same way that I do. IMO, if including that option would add to the experience of P4G for more players, then I don’t see why it wouldn’t be worth their time to add it to this game. Enough said.

I’m not saying it is impossible or anything, but they would probably have to rework many more scenes than they had with P3 and some plot important relationships that would probably have different dynamics if the main character was female.
Sounds much easier to me to just add extra content than to completely rework the content you already have. Not that I wouldn’t have liked a female main character, but sometimes we need to try to understand what the developers were thinking when they made certain decisions, even if those decisions sucked in the end.

But, uh… Not only was P3 originally designed so that it might have one, or at least she was in the thought process, but P4 was made specifically for a male protagonist. As in the plot just could -not- work with a female protagonist without some serious work.
And looking at how lazy Atlus was with Persona 3′s port and how LITTLE the gender change actually changed anything, I guarantee that had they added anything, it would have just felt all the more shallow.

It could easily have “relationship” choices. Yosuke, Kou Ichijou and his friend, Naoki Konishi, and Ryotaro Doji- oh wait, they were related, weren’t they? Sigh, a girl can dream.
As far as the storyline, I hardly see where it would be extremely difficult there either aside from changing gender terms around. Persona 4′s MC was just as enigmatic and personality-less as the other Persona MCs and characters acted pretty normally towards him until you got into a romantic relationship. I didn’t see anything that would make less sense if the main character were a girl. I don’t see what the problem would be.
Personally though, I don’t have any particular desire to be a girl in that story since my love still wouldn’t be a choice because he’s the uncle. Honestly, is there any other reason to play a FeMC other than the social link changes?

Well the FeMC doesn’t have a LULZ scene. I can’t Imagine a girl will have a really funny scene. And they add the FeMC on the story but I don’t find it cool if there is P3PFES:The answer Arc. Yukari crying over a girl WTF!? And also no Yuri scene on Mitsuru/Yukari and Fuuka. The Beach scene where they pick up girls(A Murdered event on PSP) where Minato was picking up Aegis was remove(I mean it turn to a VN style. WHAT!?) . I still prefer the PS2 P3 cuz the slash-off all the scene and when Yukari was on the beach I can’t Imagine the FeMC will embracing Yukari or the bro-moments of Junpei and the others plus the glorious bath scene! ALL WAS MURDERED because of the added FeMC to P3! I really hate P3P honestly they lessen the essence of being manly……..
Moving on to P4G if they add the FeMC on that game the story will turn in to a massive CHAOS! Look Nanako will call you ONEESAN!? Or the cross-dressing scene where the Brotag look and his pos. And his Glorious TITLE “Sis-Con Bancho”! will be ripped-off. AND PERSONA IZANAGI IT MALE IF THEY CHANGE IT TOO IZANAMI CUZ OF THAT RIDICULOUS FEMC OPTION IF WILL BLOW YOUR BRAINS OUT ISN’T IZANAMI THE F**** **** OF P4 AND IF THE FEMC’S PERSONA IS IZANAMI SO THE M*** ATTENDANT WILL BE COME A MALE(Cross-dressing goddess on if you play p4..) AND ALSO ON THE JAPANESE HISTORY IZANAGI SEES IZANAMI AS A CORPSE IN YOMI IF THERE IS A FEMC OPTION WOULDN’T THEY BLOW THE JAPANESE HISTORY AND REVERSING IT IZANAMI WILL SEE IZANAGI AS A CORPSE AND ALSO IZANAMI WAS DIED CUZ OF THE BIRTH OF KAGA-TSUCHI. IF THERE IS A FEMC OPTION THEN THE ONE WHO WILL GIVE BIRTH TO KAGA-TSUCHI IS IZANAGI AND NOT IZANAMI! They will FU** the Myth. I censored some word cuz of Potential Spoilers.

It’s alright I didn’t play P3P because of the FeMC option It ruins the awesome Punkass story of minato and his harem of his girls. I will buy the golden cuz this doesn’t have a FeMC option. And if P4 will have the FeMC option it will ruin the GLORIOUS BRO”TAG”…….
