Is Silent Hill HD Collection Also Coming To PSN And XBLA?With help from Bluepoint Games, Konami remastered three Metal Gear Solid games and sold them on a single disc as Metal Gear Solid HD Collection. Then Konami split up the package and sold each game separately on PlayStation Network in Japan. Metal Gear Solid 2, 3, and Peace Walker will also be re-released on Xbox Live Arcade later this year.

 

It appears Konami will use the same strategy for Silent Hill HD Collection. Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill 3 were rated as standalone PS3 and Xbox 360 titles by PEGI, Europe’s video game rating board.

 

Silent Hill HD Collection, the retail version, is slated for release on March 6 in North America.

    This collection is great because I will definitely overcome my fears and just play Silent Hill. It’s about damn time. （*＾ワ＾*）

    But I will buy the retail version. I don’t have any space left on my PS3. (´∩｀。)

    I hope there will be a Vita release. Playing SH2 on portable is something I’ve always wanted

    can I have original voice for Silent Hill 3?

       I’ve been wondering about this as well, I know for SH2 you can switch between VA’s..but SH3 hasn’t been said.

    I have SH2 for PS2 and Xbox, and will still totally buy these 2 for PS3, it just totally sucks it miss SH4, IMO its one of the best SH so far, can’t believe many people prefer “shattered memories” over “the room”

      Haven’t played Shattered Memories but I do like the Room, it gets a bit too much hate but I thought it had a great idea behind it. Too bad it wasn’t in the collection I think it deserves it very much.

      definitely love SH4 :D

      it was different from your traditional SH games while still keeping the fear and tension of the series trademark.

      plus Walter coming out of nowhere reminded me of Nemesis in RE3 O___O

      hope for SH4 and Shattered Memories HD collection sometime in the near future :P

    I might grab SH2 if it’s priced reasonably.If i do this will be the third time i buy it.

    I don’t support what konami did to team silent and the franchise, but seeing that classic SH just makes me want it so much..ugh.
