Spike, makers of Shinobido 2 and Danganrompa, are working on a new RPG called Conception: Please Deliver My Child for PSP. The title pretty much summarizes the goal of the game. A high school student travels to another world during his graduation ceremony where he has to conceive children with star maidens to save the world and ours.

 

The star maidens are tied to constellations like Arie who represents Aries. Arie is a nun who is a strict teacher and known to have dizzy spells.

Taura is a postwoman in training who lives with her mentor. She’s known for running all over the town.

Liris & Lirie are the Gemini sign, so naturally Spike created twins with different personalities.

    Awwwwww, I just love how the MC is holding one of his star children’s hands, and the other is just leaning on him. Cutteeeee. But I fight with them. :c I’d wail everytime they get hurt.

      Solution: Have a child with Arie, train him or her to be a brave warrior/valkyrie and give them some tough loving but be a good father afterwards and make sure they’re alright while also remaining in proximity to ensure that they make it out of it not without a scratch but mainly unscathed and knowing well what lessons to learn from each encounter while you yourself learn to better guard your own as well and in such develop your leadership abilities to better ensure the safety of everyone while also overviewing the growth of your progeny.

      That’s my take on it…

      Actually screw it, have a child with ALL of them! Muahahaha!

    I think I figured out what astrological sign the other girls are. Look at the picture with all of them and starting at Aries going counter clockwise; Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces. The second has horns and is known for running all over town, like a wild bull. The forth has a pretty moody (crabby, get it crab?) look on her face. The fifth one should be obvious, she looks like a lion. Number six looks like a regular timid Japanese school girl. Passive, civil, good-mannered kinda like what Virgos are described as. Seven looks like a librarian so Libra. XD The rest I’m not too sure about. I just went with the order of the astrological signs seeing as the previous 7 lined up right.

    If I remember correctly, Aries aren’t compatible with Aries. I’m an Aries so it’s disappointing I’m not compatible with Arie.

    Awesome character designs. I find them quite well done. I still say that I really hope this game gets a localized release in some form as it sounds very intriguing…and before anyone can attack me about the unlikeliness of this getting a localization, I want everyone to know that I understand that, but that doesn’t change my wish that it would. Anyways as I had said before, great artwork and design. It’s very well done.

    I don’t actually care for this game at all (I don’t like harem or date-sims), but these are some pretty good character designs. Too bad they’re wasted on something like this. :C

    This game will be amazing! I can’t wait! I’m going to learn Japanese just to play it! I think now is a great time to learn Japanese since we all know certain portable games will never be released which is what happened this gen. As we go into next gen we’ll still have unreleased titles in English.

    This game especially really seems wonderful. There should be more games with this kind of theme. Having children with a girl is much more mature then splattering heads in violent games like Gears of War or God of War. A boy forming a relationship with a beautiful girl… that is something that is very special and part of the human condition that we all yearn for.

    Btw it’s not appropriate to say you don’t like this kind of game and that it is valueless just because it’s not another Final Fantasy or Gears of War. Games with beautiful anime girls (called bishoujo games or galge) are a classic genre in Japan that have been around since games like Princess Maker and Tokimeki Memorial. Saying that they are not worthwhile just because they are not a traditional RPG or FPS shows incredible arrogance and even a bit of bigotry towards the Japanese who love this genre.

      I don’t quite think it’s more mature. It’s simply a different kind of maturity, one that hasn’t been debased by the constant offerings that the media presents, at least in this specific media.

      I love me some God of War (The true GoW btw) as much as I enjoy games dealing with true relationships and such aspects, Catherine being the most recent example.

    Is it wrong that I went out of my way to find the zodiac sign order and compared it to the last image just so I could find out which girl represents my zodiac sign?

    Virgo “The Virgin” is pretty fascinating looking like an ordinary schoolgirl there. Kind of implies female virgin = high school. It’s Japan though, so… !

    I’m interested to see what happens with this game, even though it’ll never come stateside.

    EDIT: Though I must say that any time I see something with a premise of “the main male character must have sex with a bunch of women to save the world,” I feel like needing to wine and dine the women to get them to want to do it is a little unnecessary when at that point it might make more sense to say “Prophecy says we need to make babies to save the world, let’s drop the pretense and all go at it like rabbits.”

      So the whole game outside of the dungeon crawling seems to be all wine and dine to boost baby stats. Regular conception would take far too long, anyway.

      Edit: Being a Pisces, I’m not surprised they went with a fishy theme for the maiden, what with her fin-ny looking hair. I do like her little crown though. She’s also looking a little disinterested/emotionless. Guess she’d be a real ~cold fish~ in bed. Yuk yuk.

      Assuming you’re right, it does really seem like you’re right as to who’s who unless a couple are randomly moved around, and assuming the images in some of the older articles for this game are in context, Virgo is actually a little ironic; She’s the main character’s cousin and not a virgin, considering she lets you know she’s pregnant before what’s going on goes on. Or maybe she is, and is actually just referring to that doll on her bag since that’s apparently where the babies come from. Accidental dad for your first party member? >_>;

    This might be just me but I’m getting the Persona 3 vibe from this game…

        It’s quite easy to do actually. And it could be futa instead of *just* yuri. Besides, in a game where a guy is transported to another world, magic can explain yuri conception. (And guys always request yuri in reverse harem all the time to suit their needs, so why not let the girls actually play as girls and have a little fun to an extent too~?)

      Is it sad that I didn’t even notice that detail about Taura until people pointed it out? Too busy trying to figure out if those are horns, or just horn shaped hair. Three of the four pictures they’re in pretty much the same placement, but the picture with the letter looks like they’re drooping a bit or something. Also that ring; Strange hair ornament, or horn piercing? >_>;
      Adorable regardless though.

          I would say without a doubt that it’s hair, but then there’s the matter of the catgirl, obviously the Leo. If one character has animal attributes, it’s possible others do to.
          Also noticing that alot of them have their symbol, or fancy variants of them, on them somewhere. Arie on her hat, and upside down on her dress. Taura’s hair/horn ring. Liris & Lirie’s chokers, the white haired girl with the scarf thing is probably Sagittarius.
