NeverDead DLC Adds Playable Pop Idol And An Egg Hunt

Konami plans on expanding NeverDead with downloadable content too and they’re doing it with bundles of characters and costumes. The first expansion pack makes the fashionable pop-idol Nikki Summerfield a playable character in multiplayer mode and gives immortal demon hunter Bryce Boltzmann two new costumes.

NeverDead expansion pack volume one also has three gameplay challenges set in the Asylum level:

Fragile Alliance: A competitive race through a number of checkpoints spread across the map. You can interrupt other player’s progress by attacking each other. The increase of environmental hazards and enemy spawn points will keep you on your toes.

Onslaught: Unlock the entire Asylum level section-by-section by defeating all enemies.. Demon-seals that block off areas will dissipate as you defeat enemies from the previous area, providing more-controlled player movement and encounters.

Egg Hunt: Scour the expanded Asylum level for collectables scoring points by delivering them to designated "Score Zones." Make sure to hold on tight to your collectibles as opponents can snatch any that you drop along the way. With enemy ambush points and environmental hazards at every turn, this challenge is tricky!

NeverDead’s first DLC pack comes out on February 21.

I’m still considering this one. How where the reviews so far? And if they where bad what do you think from a personal view XD

This game sure surprised me with the DLC. Was expecting something weapon related like everyone else but they’re adding characters, jokes, and abilities. Definitely not 100% new but interesting.

reviews have been pretty low like 3/10 for IGN and Gametrailers. Haven’t played it myself

I really like the game. I’m on my 3rd playthrough atm. Havent tried multiplayer yet but will do soon once I’m done with story again. Definitely try it before you buy it since some of the game play stuff can might not be for everyone. GameInformer hated the increased difficulty of the bosses and dialog according to their review.

Also, the skills you get from experience can make the game easier for the increase on attack or more invulnerability during a roll. You can also make it harder by making any hit make your body fall appart or change Bryce’s dialog with other skills once you have cleared the story once.

Thanks or the replies everyone- and thanks for the description Leal. Definitely gonna gamefly this one. I’m sure I’ll be able to handle the dialog and difficulty. So you just have to spend Exp wisely. I’ll definitely keep that in mind.

I love this game IGN gave it a 3.0 but I give it a 8.3 although you can’t die in the game you do loss your body parts very fast its this one enemy in the game that eats your body parts ugh I hate them if they eat your head  it goes into a mini-game if you mess up its game over

I’m always very skeptical when it comes to Game informer reviews. I never really trust them, although they gave shadows of the damned a pretty decent review. I heard complaints about the camera, but then people would give onimusha a bad review for that, although that makes the game more interesting and adds to it’s charm. Anyways.

I really wanted this, more than soul calibur V even, but I got soul calibur, because I felt it would last during the long run. Wasn’t expecting DLC. Gonna pick it up sometime soon. oh and just FYI scV is fair, but lacks the content of the past games. I hate the supers, but I love the just guard parrys and faster gameplay. Dumbed down move sets= thumbs down.
