Report: Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy Selling Out In Japan

By Spencer . February 16, 2012 . 2:09am

theatTheatrhythm: Final Fantasy might be a big hit for Square Enix. GetNews reports the Nintendo 3DS game flew off store shelves and sold out as soon as shops opened. Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy launched today in Japan alongside Binary Domain, Extreme Escape Adventure: Good People Die.

Square Enix has a bunch of paid downloadable content planned for Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy too. Eight songs are available today for an intro price of 100 yen a piece (they’re usually 150 yen).

We imagine Yoichi Wada is blasting the Final Fantasy victory theme while spinning a giant sword in his office right now.
