Where Can You Find Sim City And Midgard? Hyperdimension Neptunia Mk2

Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2 takes place in Gamindustri where consoles goddess fight for market share. The world share map shows how each nation fares and right now it looks about even aside from the evil Arfoire at 0%.

Completing quests is one way shares change hands from one nation to the next. Why does this matter? The story branches depending on which nation is in control and if you want to get other console goddess like Vert, Blanc, or Noire on your team you need to raise their shares above a certain level. Check the screenshots below to see them plus Neptune in action.

Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2 comes out on February 28.

I’ve gotten pretty much everything in the Japanese version and I never came across those two. Or ANY core parts for the original CPUs, for that matter. Processor parts for H, W, B, L, and etc? Sure, cores? Nope none at all…
Eh, I guess I’ll do another run through before NISA’s release is out, to see if I can find some, though… it seemed as if all the processor parts were more abundant for the CPU Candidates instead… =/
Hyped for the English release though, totally can’t wait ~

I really wish, I could play this game in a portable handheld like the ps vita, without having people around looking and asking weird questions. as a twenty-(cough*three*cough ) years old, like myself. would get criticize, by pretty much everyone. that includes mother, brother, and my girlfriend. it’s a shame for me to be missing out, such a promising title with lot’s of moe in it.

Your loss, but aside from Neptunia I would suggest being more supportive of your interests instead of dropping them just because someone could dislike them.
Today it’s Neptunia Mk2 because it’s too moe or something, in a few years it could be your whole videogame hobby because “come on, you’re almost thirty and you’re still gaming”, even if today the situation is completely different than the ’90s and there are millions of over-20 and over-30 gamers out there.

well by then, i’m hoping that video games will become more mainstream that those stupid tv series and brainless movies we see now a days. one reason might be, the feeling of being more immerse and personal, games like heavy rain and uncharted are primed examples. but back on the topic, mk2 is looks really awesome and best of all it’s a jrpg (what more could i ask) which is why i could support these titles, if it was realised on handhelds as well. the way i see things: is either buy the game and loose the little respect i get from my family or keep my dignity and play these types of games where nobody will know.

But video games ARE more mainstream than before. Just not the games YOU may like.
Also, regarding the fact that you’re actually embarrassed to play games like this, well… way I see it, you have two choices: One, you can grow a backbone, man up, and just play the friggin’ games you like. Or two, if you’re so thin-skinned, maybe you should stop playing games like those and switch to something more “acceptable,” like Call of Duty, so you won’t have to get jumped on for liking “girly” games.

I’m looking forward to using 5pb in battle. She would’ve rounded out a perfect team for me along with Nisa and one of the goddesses if I had her in the first game.
I know it won’t due to the otaku-catered elements, but I wish this series would become more popular in the West. I like that the game’s premise is based on the video game industry and providing personifications of video game companies and consoles.
And as much as I like female characters, I think the game does need more male characters around. Three of the villains may be male, but that’s debatable because they all seem to be more like mechs.
Edit: I also hope that CPU parts are done better this time around. Most of the time in the first game, changing the CPU parts either didn’t matter, or made the character look like an ugly Frankenstein of game design.

Well you’re limited this time when to use the goddess form. And there is a negative status that totally prevents it.
I personally found 5pb to be rather weak, though she has some pretty interesting attack moves.

Limited on when you can use goddess form? Well, we’ll see how it goes. I won’t know until I actually play it, but that sounds like a bad idea.

It’s tied to the Skill Point System (SP). You need 100 SP to activate goddess form, and it consumes about 15 SP per turn. You get SP by attacking and getting damage though, and the max SP you can have is 300 (you can also use items to boost them in battle), but you can only carry 100 max outside battle.

I want this game so badly, and yet I don’t have the money to buy it right now at all. :( I wouldn’t be so upset if it weren’t for the fact that the price will have doubled within a few months. Dammit.

I love the new look and feel of the game already. All the new outfits look really nice too. I already pre-ordered mine straight from NISA months ago, and I’m hyped and can’t wait to play it when it comes out. My body is ready =^_^=
