imageFriends can always help you with Fire Emblem games by playing battles for you. Fire Emblem: Awakening adds a new form of support – local wi-fi dual tags.

The Dual system is a new element made for Fire Emblem: Awakening where nearby allies join you in a skirmish acting as extra support. According to a retail leak, Fire Emblem: Awakening will also support StreetPass for My Unit (the custom hero you create that’s tied to the story) exchanging and side-story maps.

Game Star also mentions Fire Emblem: Awakening has a bond system, which affects battles. Characters can develop ties when fighting together on the battlefield.

Fire Emblem: Awakening comes out on April 19 in Japan and has been confirmed for a European release.
