Ex-Team Ninja Developer Makes Card Game With Rockin’ Penguins And Business Tigers

Business tigers, police lions, and polar bears… in a card game? Oh my! JanCard available now for Android blends elements of mahjong and poker into a new game. The goal is to create a six card combination that beats the other animals. You start JanCard by playing against cuddly creatures like a cheerleader and as you gain chips in casino mode you face more ferocious animal.

 

JanCard is from J’s Avenue, a video game studio formed by former Tecmo and Koei employees. Dead or Alive / Team Ninja staff member Tetsuya Imamura produced JanCard and Winning Post programmer Katsunobu Wakabayashi was the main programmer.
