nlks1Konami picked up the license to the storybook-like Wii game Little King’s Story and gave it a makeover for PlayStation Vita. New Little King’s Story has anime style artwork for Corobo and touch screen controls. Oh, and Marvelous AQL made downloadable costumes too.

The first round includes two sets of gothic lolita costumes for the princesses, which you can purchase on the PlayStation Store for 500 yen ($6). Each set includes four outfits.

Konami also added costumes for the villagers like twin pigtail wigs, army set, school clothes, and a devil/angel pack. Equipping these outfits have different benefits like wearing a gas mask (part of the army pack) protects you from poison and the sailor suit boosts your life. Each costume pack costs 200 yen ($2.50).

I think the art style is fine, but it really takes away from how the game is overall, not to mention that DLC. The outfits look cute though.
