Gundam AGE RPG Goes Back To Level 5s Crafting Roots

Level-5 will let players build the Gundam of their dreams in Mobile Suit Gundam AGE. The PSP game has five different parts to customize: core wear, arm wear, leg wear, weapons, and an option part. Before you can equip Titan Arms you need to create them.

 

You start by defeating other Mobile Suits in battle. Mobile Suit Gundam AGE has an action oriented combat system where different weapons are assigned to face buttons. Enemies drop items as rewards, which you can use to create blueprints. After you make a blueprint, you can refine items to create new Gundam gear.

Then it’s back to the battlefield to earn more item drops. Pilots in Mobile Suit Gundam AGE can trigger a Rondo Burst by pressing R. This powerful attack lets you hit any enemies within an attack circle. Level-5 says players will be able to adjust their range with other Rondo Burst “circles” like a cone area and straight line.

    Custom Robo: Gundam Edition? If I use parts that are all red, will my Gundam be three times faster than normal? Can I give it a purple energy towel to use as a weapon? If I don’t give it any weapons and give it an agile build, will it strike with its fists? Will the pilot start yelling about how his hand is burning when it punches? Can I make a Gundam that looks like a windmill? A sailor scout? How about a mystic jack-in-the-box that uses the monk’s staff from Ronin Warriors as a weapon?

      AGE doesn’t work that way, This Gundam evolves using the battle data it gathered and sends it to a Giant Eggshaped 3D printer called the AGE Builder

      The AGE-1 Gundam AGE-1 Normal is adaptable to any sitch and doesn’t really specialize in anything

      for Example if you Fight a Sturdy MS who can’t be taken down with shots and sabers it will create Close range parts resulting in the Linebacker like AGE-1T Gundam AGE-1 Titus.

      Another example: If the Enemy MS is too fast and dodges every shot, The Age builder creates Parts and a weapon to accomodate fast and Agile movement resulting in the Ninja-ish AGE-1S Gundam AGE-1 Spallow

      G Gundam was and forever will be one of the best in the Gundam series.

      MS Saga was an great RPG.  Story wasn’t really good, but the combat made the game all sorts of awesome.

    Looks cool, although I don’t watch AGE anime, the game won’t be so bad I guess… if it get localized…

       I say you should watch the anime since its the best one since G Gundam in my opinion and seeing as this is a psp game based on a anime for something that has no U.S. release date yet and they don’t bring many gundam games I wouldn’t hold my breath about it being release out Japan but if it does I will glady double dip and buy it twice

          we all have opinions which is why someone can thinks something is the best thing yet and others can think its crap, which is the reason I said in my opinion. The way you made your comment it sounds either like you are trying to make what you like a fact or that I said something wrong

    The MS customize reminds me of Gundam True Odyssey.
    Would be nice if they can include those parts from the recently announced sidestories in Hobby Japan and Dengeki Hobby.
