Sega’s Fist Of North Star Game Punches Your Wallet Dead

Instead of making a beat ‘em up with the Fist of the North Star license. Sega is releasing a PlayStation 3 port of Sammy’s Fist of the North Star slot machine. Set for release on May 31, Fist of the North Star Pachislot has a production mode where you can see in-game art and auto play mode if you just want to watch Kenshiro punch at the screen.

    Talk about wasting a license. Sega, what about a series centered around a Bruce Lee look-alike who can make people explode by punching them made you think “This would be great for pachinko”?

    Seriously, this is even more disappointing than the post-Raoh episodes of the anime.

      Many of the people who read it when the were younger are now salarymen who spend their free time at pachinko parlors. They see pachinko machines theamed after things like Fist of the North Star and Saint Seiya and go “I remember that!” and throw their money in the machine.

    Another Fist of the North Star panchiko in videogame version? Geez, I’m still pissed off with the fact that it was released for Wii and instead of an action game with motion control we had a panchiko game instead.
