Transfer That Dark Slime From Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2 Into Terry’s Wonderland 3D

By Spencer . May 2, 2012 . 3:52pm

imageMost of the hours spent rearing monsters in Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2 and Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2 Professional can be imported into Dragon Quest Monsters: Terry’s Wonderland 3D.

Square Enix will release a free app on May 31 that lets players send data from DQMJ2 and DQMJ2P to Terry’s Wonderland 3D.

Jump also revealed Dragon Quest Monsters: Terry’s Wonderland 3D will have a new challenge called the Ultimate Combination after the ending. Players will be able to access new abilities like Metal Body, Attack Frequency Up, and Resistance Up when blending monsters together to create super monsters. One of the screenshots, for example, shows a slime dealing 484 damage in one hit.

post game content is always good and glad to SE doesn’t peoples time since they will let you import data

Postgame stuff is nice. Although the transfer system might be problematic if they decide it justifies leaving a chunk of monsters unobtainable without using it…. especially because only Japan got DQMJ2P.

  • Dat’s one orky slime!

Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2 and Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2 Professional …. Difference being? lol I never played the spin-off series but I will be picking up Terry’s Wonderland.

Professional was a re-release of the game that was only in Japan. It had a few new story elements and added in 100 or so new monsters to the original. Think third version Pokemon games (Emerald, Platinum, ect)

I figured something like that. Thanks.

    Excellent! X3
I hope they keep that breeding system in the game too. The one where you find a friend and both get a different monster from your own.  I thought that was pretty neat back then XD

  • i hope they released it in the western
