Arc System Works is working on a PSP game tied to the anime series Phi Brain. Players will solve puzzles in Phi Brain: Puzzle of Bonds has word square where you add in kana to spell words horizontally and vertically.

That kind of strikes Phi Brain: Puzzle of Bonds off the import friendly list, but the other puzzles aren’t as language intensive. The PSP game has color logic (essentially color Picross), sliding puzzles, and a line drawing puzzle where you have to pass through all of the routes once without going backwards.
