Sony Computer Entertainment will release The Ratchet & Clank Collection in North America this fall. The PlayStation 3 compilation includes HD remastered versions of Ratchet & Clank, Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando, and Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal on one Blu-ray disc.

Where’s Ratchet: Deadlocked, the fourth PS2 game? On PlayStation Network. Sony Computer Entertainment Japan announced the same package under the name Ratchet & Clank 1+2+3 The Strongest in the Galaxy Gorgeous Pack slated for summer and Ratchet: Deadlocked as a 1,000 yen ($13) PSN game.

  • well, it’s better than not getting HD remake of this game at all.

“Ratchet & Clank 1+2+3 The Strongest in the Galaxy Gorgeous Pack”

I wish we could get our HD collections named like this.

I lauched  so hard when i heard Ratcher girly voice XD, he sounds soooo diferent here compared to his english voice.

  • I bet this will be the surprise for North America then

  • Japanese Ratchet = Makoto from SF. :)

0_o they could of easily slapped in into the BR disc that the other 3 are coming on. Charge another $10 and you’d be set.

Considering its mostly an online oriented title it makes more sense as a download. Also my bet is that Ratchet 1 through 3 fit on a 25GB disc and adding Deadlocked would make them go to 50GB for the few extra GB, which would increase production costs.

  • WingsOfEternity

Deadlocked was the worst entry in the series. Just 1+2+3 is good enough.

    •  I think you’d be surprised to find that Deadlocked has a hefty fanbase. I for one am one of them. The game was a nice change from the others (my favorite of the main R+C games being Going Commando) and the arena/gladiator aspect was quite appealing.

The Strongest in the Galaxy Gorgeous Pack.

Just letting that title roll around in my mouth is sending my tongue into paroxysms of hyperbolic pleasure. Kinda funny to hear Ratchet’s japanese voice, though the Clank voice is pretty spot on. Now I just want to hear more from Captain Qwark and Doctor Nefarious’s voice, and I am set. Also, this pack is one real neat idea: think I could get behind this one, somewhere down the line.

Just what I wanted to complete the collection xD
I wonder if they’ll keep the online play :3

  • Solomon_Kano

Sweet. I only ever played Deadlocked’s demo, but I always wanted the full game. Now I’ll have all of the PS2 entries again. Add Tools of Destruction and A Crack in Time, and I’ll have the whole series again.

    • you would need going mobile and all 4 one to have the whole series

      • Solomon_Kano

I was referring to console games in the series, so no Going Mobile. I would indeed need All 4 One though. Size Matters too, since it saw a PS2 version.
