Trace A Path To Victory In Generation Of Chaos 6

By Spencer . May 11, 2012 . 3:02pm

imageGeneration of Chaos 6 is looking a bit more like Knights in the Nightmare. Sting’s RPG game has players control units by selecting them and then tracing a path for them to follow. Except you use a bland reticule instead of a wisp.

When you engage an enemy a tapping battle begins. An image of your slash shows up and you can get multiple hits by tapping circle at the right time. The pattern changes depending on the type of weapon. Sword, spear, axe, and claw are pictured below.

Speaking of the characters, Idea Factory released the game’s opening video, which introduces everyone. Generation of Chaos 6 comes out on June 28.

I really wish more developers would get on the vita bandwagon. Not because I want better graphics, but because I think there would be a much higher chance of localization.

Thats the whole problem here. If gaming companies are not thinking of releasing the game overseas, they will surely released them on PSP as outside Japan, piracy is like PSP best friend.

However releasing them on Vita will not guarantee them that overseas buyers will be able to close all the cost for localizations and also Vita’s owner is still very small which makes it difficult and through economic views not a profitable step to take…….which is bad for us here.T_T

In what way and what world?Th Vita just came out, costs more than one could afford, has a tons of problems waiting to be shorted out and let’s face :

Official or Custom firmware, nearly everyone has a PSP,despite going on about how “dead” it is,so the most wise desicion and higher chance of localization would be the honour of PSP.

If it doesn’t get localized it’s because people haven’t showed interest in the series in the past.

I really hope more people get to play games with depth like this. It would be great if it came out as a digital release for the Vita too. How much more effort does it take to port something like this anyway? :X

People were worried that both companies working together could lead to a mess, but it looks like Sting is implementing plenty of creative ideas, just like in most of their games. Not saying that previous GoC games were bad, as I can’t express myself on those given that I didn’t play them. ^^

i do appreciate for the fact that they still make games for the psp but games like knights of nightmare is freaking unplayable.
