Dragon Quest Monsters: Terry’s Wonderland 3D Has An Online Store Too

By Spencer . May 14, 2012 . 12:30am

imageAnd just like Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies you don’t have to hand over real money. Although, buying mysterious eggs from Dragon Quest Monster: Terry’s Wonderland 3D will cost a hefty amount of gold.

In the middle of the adventure players will receive one mysterious egg during an event scene. What kind of monster will you get? Who knows, but Jump reports acquiring eggs is one way to add rare monsters to your party. After the egg hatches you can leave the baby monster in the care of an old man who watches your monsters.

Players can get more eggs by connecting Dragon Quest Monster: Terry’s Wonderland 3D online and visiting the egg shop. The cheapest egg in a screenshot is 2,500 gold and the most expensive is 150,000 gold. I wonder if Dragon Quest Monster: Terry’s Wonderland 3D has a save and reset "rebate" because that egg costs way more than the life boosting Chocobo Egg from Secret of Evermore.

This game looks so interesting. I jump to every news article posted on it always expecting the best, and I always leave pleasently surprised by what I read. SE is doing a great job at updating this classic.

Okay now I got to get this game.

Ah, but Spencer, can we trade the 150,000 Gold egg for a Mysterious Gourd? (That does NOTHING as far as the lead programmer can remember)

You get props for the reference.
