Mind Your Manners When You Play Culdcept Or Your Online Profile Will Blacklisted

By Spencer . May 21, 2012 . 1:00am

imageCuldcept for Nintendo 3DS has online play where you can take on another player in a one-on-one match. Versus rankings will kick off on June 28 when Culdcept launches.

If you play online try not to be a jerk because the game will label you as a bad mannered player. This adds a manner mark to your status screen and bans you from Culdcept’s leaderboards.

Culdecept also has local wireless matches where players exchange cards at the end and a story mode where you can unlock new cards. Want to build your deck faster? Go to the market where you can trade three cards in your hand for two new ones.

  • I don’t know what else to say beyond “AWESOME!“.

  • Whoomp

…and I’m sure this won’t be abused at all. Nope. Not at all.

    • XiaomuArisu

      Of course not.
      You win!
      You got banned!
Reason:You won, that means you must be a cheater.

      • neetyneety

This made me lol so hard.

…but of course I hope this doesn’t actually happen.

        • XiaomuArisu

Well depends how the ban works.
          Version A:
Player A says “BAN!” producer says “OK!”
          Version B:
Player A says “BAN!” producer asks “why?”player A says “player B won”producer bans player A.

          If its Version A…..GAME OVER!

    • boundries_san

O.o hope that the ban is all coming through consideration here lol. If not, i can guess most of the player will get ban by being too pro lol.

Even if there is a CHANCE that it will keep human players from rage quitting as soon as they start to lose….

“Your Online Profile Will (be?) Blacklisted”

  • Mago Iichi

I could’ve sworn the title said Mind your Monsters

  • Two typos:
    1. “Culdcept has local wireless…”, not “Culdecept”.
    2. “Your Online Profile Will _Be_ Blacklisted”

    • M’iau M’iaut

Thnak u fer coming and heping uz out!

  • M’iau M’iaut

Appreciate battling player abuse, but considering the story modes of this series have always been about dark, cheating, backstabbing win at all costs opponents, I pray a bit of smack talk isn’t enough to ring the red alert.

  • Istillduno

So, whose betting by the end of the first month only the scrubbiest players remain, with everyone else blacklisted for breaking the imaginary rules of “cheapness” they try to impose on the game to excuse their losses.

Seriously this is dumb, they should just filter swearwords and be done with it ffs, leaving anything like this in the hands of the online community is just asking for **** to go wrong.

  • Now, I hope MMOs in general would do the same for #teabagging.

  • neetyneety

I wonder how they’re going to handle this. As the others have said, I hope that you won’t get banned just because you’re a pro, or because you just did a little smack/celebration talk.
