Bravely Default Producer Implemented Fan Feedback From Demo

By Spencer . May 23, 2012 . 12:06am

In Japan, Square Enix asked players to submit feedback based on the second Bravely Default demo, the one where you can run around town and do a water fetching side quest.

Some fans felt Tiz walked too slow and producer Tomoya Asano fixed that. Characters now run 20% faster and this won’t affect the enemy encounter rate. You can see a comparison with the updated game and the demo (playing in a window). Running speed also changes depending on how far you push the slide pad.

Other tweaks Asano showed were changing character standing positions when you talk to them and fixing a sound timing issue in the inn. Asano says players will be able to test out the battle system in the next Bravely Default: Flying Fairy demo.

Bravely Default: Flying Fairy is slated for release later this year on Nintendo 3DS.
