Sega To Publish Monkey Island Creator’s Next Game, The Cave

Aside from their Kickstarter-funded Double Fine Adventure title, Double Fine Productions are also working on a side-scrolling game by Monkey Island creator, Ron Gilbert, titled The Cave. The game will be published by Sega for PC and console download services sometime in early 2013. Here’s an idea of what’s it like:

“The concept of The Cave has been bouncing around in my head for many, many years, and then the little voices that tell me to do things said it was time to make the game,” added Ron Gilbert. “I’m thrilled to be working with amazingly talented folks at Double Fine and ecstatic that the team at Sega believes in adventure games and quirky ideas.”
